According to Google owned YouTube, mobile users can now benefit from their largest offering of available videos, and will also be able to personalize their experience with new features. Right now the YouTube for Mobile, http://m.youtube.com, service offers users over ten million videos, but does require that the user’s phone has 3G access and must be streaming capable.
In addition to the amount of videos offered, users will also be able to use new features to get the most of the YouTube for Mobile experience. Features that are now offered for their mobile service will allow users to access their accounts, videos, favorites and more. Also, users can upload and share the videos from their mobile device.
However, right now the YouTube for Mobile service is a beta release, and is only offered for select devices. The mobile phones that can receive this service include the “Sony Ericsson k800, w880, Nokia e65, n95, n73, 6110 navigator and 6120 classic.” If you have one of these phones then this service can be downloaded for free through a Java application.
