The concept is very simple. You give a dollar to GiveOneBuck.com and in return will gain a backlink to your site and a chance to win more cash, anywhere from $100 and up. GiveOneBuck was created by a web developer who loves the internet and in particular the Web 2.0 age.
Here is a brief summary of how GiveOneBuck works:
“Everytime $1,000 is gathered one of the users that gave money is randomly selected and wins $100. In the same way, for every $10,000 that is gathered one of the users that gave money will win $1,000. The same is available for $100,000. When $1,000,000 is reached, one user will win $100,000!!!”
This is a fairly new startup, and as of now there has been a total of $2727 given, which means a couple of people have already received $100. Even if you don’t win the money, which is more than likely going to be the case, at least you got a link back and only lost one dollar.
