Utterz announced today the launch of their mobile web site, m.utterz.com, which lets members browse and reply to utterz and post to other sites, such as Wordpress, Flickr, YouTube, MySpace and Facebook. If you don’t know, Utterz is a service that lets people connect instantly to their social networks via video, pictures, voice and text using their mobile device or computer.
Utterz launched in September 2007 and offers members a way to connect with friends through multimedia messages from a mobile phone using “voice recordings and media files sent to go@utterz.com.” The part about Utterz that I like is the ability to cross-post multi-media to social networking sites like MySpace, Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, Twixtr and more.
Now, with the launch of M.Utterz.com, members can do things like edit, title and tag their existing posts all from their mobile device. So essentially you are getting the online experience of Utterz on your mobile device.
“The launch of the mobile site really completes the circle of mobile Utterz features: you can now create, view, share and manage your multi-media posts all from your mobile device without any special software on your phone” said Michael Bayer, CEO of Utterz. “M.Utterz.com allows for an even more dynamic ‘any time, anywhere’ user experience for our growing community.”

huh…this is the first time I have heard of Utterz and must say it looks like a pretty cool service. I use my cell phone for everything else, why not social networks!?! ![]()
I like using social networks but I am not real active on them. Therefore, I probably wouldn’t use my mobile phone to access them. But who knows, one day I might change my mind.
