FontStruct is a free font-building tool that is brought to you by FontShop, which is a leading online font retailer. With FontStruct users can “easily create fonts constructed out of geometrical shapes, which are arranged in a grid pattern, like tiles or bricks.”
When creating your fonts you will use the FontStructor font editor, and after you are done FontStruct takes your results and creates high quality True-Type fonts that can be used on any Windows or Mac application. You can also display the fonts you have created in a widget on your blog.
With FontStruct you have the ability to keep the fonts all to yourself; however, they “encourage users to share their “FontStructions.” Or, if you are lazy you can just go to the FontStruct’s gallery and find fonts that were created and shared by other FontStruct user. If you find fonts in the gallery that you like then you can either “download them or even copy” them to use for whatever you want.
If you create a font post a link to it here so I can check it out.
