uberVU is a new web 2.0 startup that is being created to provide users with a single place in which they can keep all of their content and conversations. They are currently working on a demo, or alpha version, of uberVU, but no date has been set yet on its release. Also, you can sign in and join the Beta Club, which will give you access to the beta version of uberVU when it becomes available.
If you get selected to use the beta version of uberVU, here are some of the things you will be able to do:
- Import your content from: Wordpress, Blogger, Flickr, Picasa, Youtube
- Create content using our kick-ass drag and drop editor.
- Post content to any one of the platforms above
- Follow reactions to your content on those platforms and post reactions for yourself (where it’s possible).
This sounds like it will be a great tool for bloggers, especially considering uberVU will be a free service. Hopefully soon the alpha version will become available so that we at least have a demo of how uberVU works, which will probably do nothing more than get us excited for the release of the beta version. Also, I am not sure how many invites they are going to give for their beta version, so if you are interested you might want to go ahead and sign-up.

Thanks for the post. This looks very interesting…. kinda like a cross between meebo (for IM) and friendfeed (for social networking).
I’m surprised it hasn’t been covered by TechCrunch yet.
@Adam
That is the thing about Web 2.0 and startups. There are so many it is hard for sites to keep up with all of them. TechCrunch is by far the leader in this field, but as an individual I do my best to stay on top of things.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
How do you find this great content of info?
Ah TC I know!
@blogzilla
Actually, some of the sites are e-mailed to me by readers and I post about them if I think it is beneficial.
Other sites I find through other means; however, I have actually not taken anything from TechCrunch to post about. Some things we do post about are the same, but I didn’t get it from them.
Thanks for your preview. We have already a few hundred users testing the service. We will let more people in at the end of this month. We need to fix some server and security issues ![]()
@Vladimir
First off, thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Sounds like you guys are working hard to get your service ready. I registered earlier today, so once the service is available I will definitely try it out.

Can’t wait to test and review this myself…
I am a fan of centralizing things, especially online…and I hope this will help me.
