SocialVibe- Get Sponsored, Earn Rewards and Give Back to the Community

SocialVibe Thumbnail

SocialVibe is a fairly new web startup that recognizes the benefits of social networks as well as the influence that people have within them. SocialVibe takes advantage of this influence that people have within social networks by allowing them to get sponsored by their favorite brands, earn great perks and give back to the Cause of their choice.

How this works is that you select and customize a brand sponsorship, which can then be placed on your favorite social networks, including Facebook, MySpace and other web sites. Every time that someone views the sponsorship you will earn points, which will help give you chances to win perks. Also, the more points you earn the more money you raise, which will be donated to the Cause of your choice. So not only do you benefit from earning points, but you are giving back to your community by raising money to give to what ever Charity or Cause you want.

Here is more information about “Your Rewards” and “Your Causes” from SocialVibe:

  • Your Rewards
    • “SocialVibe sponsors offer a range of rewards to members who endorse their brands, from great content and artwork designed to enhance your profile page, to a chance win great prizes, to donations to important charities and causes.”
  • Your Causes
    • “Now more than ever, individuals are empowered to have a voice and make an impact in their communities thanks to the power of social networking. SocialVibe is enabling people to use their social influence combined with the resources of brands to have an impact in the areas of education, environment, health, hunger & poverty, animal rights, arts & culture, peace & human rights.”

If you are involved in social networking and want a way that you can not only earn rewards for yourself, but also give back to the community, then you should definitely check SocialVibe out. I personally believe that SocialVibe is offering a great service, mainly because of who all is benefited in the process: 1) The person placing the brand on their social network page, 2) The Sponsor who gets their brand out on popular social networks, and 3) The Cause that is chosen to receive the money.

If you use SocialVibe please post a comment letting us know how you like it. Also, if you are not a current user, is this something you would consider using on your social networking pages? I am real interested to know how many people will end up getting involved.

I do agree with Ameo and Tommy for a certain extent. But I also think that this is an extremely innovative and well brought up concept by SocialVibe. We might not be having enough time to commit to such a thing. But millions of other people committing to it can really make a difference.

And I was surprised to find many top-notch sponsors link Coke and NBA there. They are playing their cards well.

    Cheers!

Thanks guys for the comments. While there are TONS of social networks out there, I still think there is room for sites like SocialVibe, because it brings something to the table that benefits several people.

Socialvibe is NOT a social network, so I love it :)

Lets me connect to brands and raise awareness for the charities I love. Plus its a cool way to meet people with similar interests.
