blinkBox is a site that lets you not only watch, buy and rent movies and TV shows, but it also lets users take their favorite part of a movie and/or TV show, personalize it with text and do with it what they wish. They call these personalized clips “blinks,” and they can be sent to your friends’ mobile phone or PC with ease.
Right now blinkBox has over a thousand titles and they have more coming in everyday. Allowing users to personalize clips from movies and TV shows, as well as watch, buy or rent those same movies and TV shows is, in my opinion, a very cool feature. We all have been watching a movie and see a scene that reminded us of one of our crazy friends. Well, with blinkBox you can “Blink It”, add some text and then send it to them by entering in their mobile phone number or e-mail address.
Also, blinkBox gives you the ability to interact with other users by checking out the blinks that they have created. Then you can rate and/or comment on theirs blinks if you want. Yeah, I think it is a pretty cool site myself. The addition of being able to personalize clips of movies and TV shows really makes it stand out.
I actually like it, Its a great spin on the stagnant niche of Video sites.
You see so many of these youtube clones so its nice to see a site doing it differently
