FontCubes is a fairly new site that lets you download free fonts and dingbats for PCs and Macs. As of right now FontCubes has over 9,400 free fonts for download, which have been downloaded a total of 1.2 million times.
You do not have to register at FontCubes in order to download any of the fonts; however, by registering you will be allowed access to “Font Cubes’s unique font management system that were made for designer’s uses.” Also, if you are a font author and want to share your work with others, then join FontCubes and have your work published. As an author you can use their FontCubes’ “site feature to collect donation on your font work.”
Considering these fonts are free to download I would definitely say you should check them out. I guarantee you will find some cool fonts from some great authors. Just remember that the fonts are the author’s property, so be sure to look at the read-me files in the font archives.
